I built Kontinuity on my own, and I'd rather it be useful to a lot of people than earn a little from a few. So it's free, and it stays free.

Two things help more than money would. Your email, so I can tell you when something changes — occasional, practical, unsubscribe whenever. And your feedback, so I know what's broken and what's worth building next.

Common questions
Is it really free? What's the catch?
No catch. Every feature is available to everyone, with no account and no payment details. There's no trial clock, no locked panel, no upgrade prompt. If you find one, that's a bug — tell me and I'll fix it.
Do I need an account?
No. Install it and it works. Kontinuity stores everything locally in your browser, so there's nothing to sign into and no profile on my side to create.
Will it stay free?
That's the intention. If a paid version ever exists, it would be something built specifically for teams — and what you use today would stay as it is. I'm not going to take features away from people who already installed it.
Why is the cost an estimate rather than an exact figure?
Because I can't see your bill, and I won't pretend otherwise. Kontinuity counts tokens locally and multiplies by published API rates. Providers have also stopped reporting some underlying data on newer models, so the number is a sense of scale — useful for comparing conversations, not for reconciling an invoice. That's why it's marked with ≈ everywhere it appears.
Does Kontinuity send my data anywhere?
No. Your token counts, session history, and estimates live in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing leaves your device. Kontinuity reads usage metadata locally — it never sees your prompts or the responses.
